The venerable Cambridge (MA, USA) power breakfast hot spot, Henrietta’s Table at the Charles Hotel, is closed for renovation. For now, the 02138 elite will have to break their fasts at Rialto across the hall. Unfortunately, the menu is limited t0 a hot ($22) or cold ($16) buffet. Henrietta’s had been well known not only for its clientèle and convenient Harvard Square location (with parking) but for its use of fresh ingredients and reasonable (for a hotel) prices. Let’s hope they stay true to this heritage with the new incarnation.
