Will Your Flight be On Time?

Greig Waddell at About.com reports that the 2008 on-time ratings for the airlines are out. Hawaiian Airlines tops the list at 90% so I guess I should plan more trips to Hawaii. That performance wouldn’t have anything to do with the fine island weather, would it?

Second is Southwest at 80.5%. I would think that they benefit from their point-to-point flights that avoid many major hub airports.

For those of us who often find ourselves on United or American, the picture isn’t pretty: they are at the botttom of list.
